What a wonderful start to our SPM 2015-2016 season!
I’m just back from Wolf Trap in Vienna, VA where we presented DISNEY IN CONCERT Magical Music from the Movies, August 21, 2015 to a huge audience of 6,000+ music lovers. What a great crowd! I think this must have been the most enthusiastic audience we’ve ever had for one of our shows. And the Disney film video looked fantastic on a 13.5’ x 24’ Da-Lite projection screen centered over the orchestra. This month, September 2015, seems to be an international month with presentations of Tale as Old as Time and Magical Music from the Movies in Seoul, South Korea, Stavanger, Norway, and Melbourne, Australia. This is the second time we’ve been invited to perform in Seoul and Melbourne and we are grateful for the opportunities! And just to add a little domestic spice to our September calendar, we will be performing with the Wichita Symphony on the 19th. This will be our first time in Wichita and we’re looking forward to it!
Our DISNEY IN CONCERT 2015-2016 bookings have seen an incredible leap in the number of scheduled performances and we thank all of the orchestras and promoters who have chosen to book our concert packages. We are very aware that we couldn’t do this without you and appreciate the trust you’ve put into the quality of our productions.
